Parable of the sower

Verse 1

The seed on the gravel is stolen away
The one in the shallow no roots can ingrain
Our worries and troubles like weeds and thorns
Will burrow and choke out the joy in our souls

Chorus

He's building his kingdom brother
One seed at a time
He's building his Kingdom sister
And harvesting life

Verse 2

The seed in the rich dirt will dig in deep
It's growth can't be thwarted by folly or grief
One climbed calvary with a harvest in mind
He hung from a dead tree to bring ours to life

Verse 3

And you who are willing now listen and hear
The kingdom of heaven is drawing near
The true son of man will rip out and destroy
Our sinful desires and wicked ploys

Bridge

Sow life into our dead bones
Bear a harvest a hundred fold
Sow life into our dead bones
Bear a harvest a hundred fold
